Abra Desktop 3.0.0: built for speed

Automated testing already saves you hours of manual work. Great. But you still have to wait for the results, and waiting is annoying. Abra Desktop 3.0.0 is built for speed. It cuts waiting times by up to 10x and gives you a clearer overview of everything you’ve tested along the way.

A new layout that keeps the overview

Abra Desktop has a new multi-column interface. Reports, Screens and Results sit side by side, providing a clear overview of the hierarchy. The aim was to significantly speed up navigation between reports, screens and results.

While improving how Abra Desktop presents your tests, we managed to significantly speed up the testing engine (Abra SDK).

  • On iOS, testing is roughly 2.2x to 10.3x faster.

  • On Android, testing is roughly 3.2x to 7.2x faster.

Screens can now be scanned within seconds.
